Two of the club's active members and frequent flyers (George & Pat) have migrated South for the season, and will miss our lovely Canadian winter. However, they have promised to provide us with updates from time-to-time.

George has joined the Avon Park Aeromodellers - located north Of Sebring, Florida. He has been out flying his new Flex Innovation Mamba 10 biplane quite a few times already, and reports:

"She a beautiful flyer and fully 3D aerobatic capable, including hovering. The white plane on the bench (first photo) is my new plane. We have a beautiful hard surface runway well suited for planes with small wheels."

"The Avon Club airfield is 15 minutes from my place. There is also a Hobby Store (Big Lake Hobbies) about 15 min. from here in Sebring, Florida; and another airfield in Sebring about a  1/2 hour away (Highlands Radio Control Club). There are other airfields I can visit that are within 1 hr. from here."

Meanwhile, Pat reports:

I fly regularly, at least 4 times a week. I will try and get something together for y'all up north in regards to flying here. Weather here is excellent. Although some say today will be cold at 19C   :-)
